Rally Control System

Total rally control based on the latest technologies in Vehicle Tracking, Communications and Data processing. Safety is highest priority of the rally management and effective dispatch of rescue services.

With the rally virtually “taking place live” on monitors in the control room, fast and accurate decisions can be taken based on real time data.

Each rally vehicle will be fitted with “Rally Safety System” by Geotraq.

By means of sensors the device communicates with satellites, locates the vehicle and makes each second a record of the exact position, the time, the speed and the driving direction plus many other parameters.

The participants will drive with the latest feature – the Com-Box, allowing vehicle-to-vehicle communication. Modern technology enables the participants to request overtaking with a single push of a button. The subject of safety plays a key role and we are doing our best to incorporate meaningful improvements in the safety system.

Each crew/rider will use the latest “Garmin InReach” satellite tracking and communication functionality together with the Geotraq Rally Safety System.

With inReach satellite technology from Garmin competitors can stay in touch globally. They can send and receive messages, track their movement and if necessary, trigger an SOS to get help from a 24/7 global emergency response coordination center or the Rally Control via the 100% global Iridium® satellite network.

• Rental of satellite tracking & vehicle-to-vehicle communication devices is included in the entry fee.
• Rental of navigation & SOS equipment is included in the entry fee.

Only a deposit for both system has to be paid during the administrative check. The deposit is refundable after returning the equipment.
